For when you want to give your child a bit more freedom, but also want to know they're where they should be, we've created Safe Areas!
Safe Areas allow you to set an area on the map that will send you alerts whenever your KARRI enters or leaves the area. If you have more than one KARRI, you can create a different area for each, or group them together.
To set up Safe Areas, follow the instructions below:
Creating a Safe Area
To start creating a Safe Area, open the Locator tab in your KARRI App. Next, tap the green pin icon in the bottom right corner (it should look like the image below).
Tap 'Create a safe area' and then give the area a name. You should then select which of your KARRIs you'd like to add to this Safe Area (they'll be selected as standard so untick any you don't want to add!).
Next, move the map around until the pin is at the centre of where you would like your Safe Area to be created.
Tap 'Next' and then press, hold, and drag the blue dots to edit the Safe Area to cover the area you desire.
Tap 'Save' to finish setting up your Safe Area. You'll now get alerts whenever your KARRI enters or leaves this area.
Please note: Notifications will be sent when the KARRI next updates its location. If you have GPS Updates turned off, or set to a low frequency, notifications may come later than expected. Check your GPS Updates frequency to make sure you get alerts at the speed you prefer. Click here for more information on updating the GPS Updates
