You've mastered sending messages and now want to let your child roam with their KARRI but still want to be able to check in on them? Look no further - this article will show you how to track your KARRI devices, see if they have enough battery and how much signal they have.

Track your KARRI

Tracking your KARRI is simple! In the KARRI App, tap the 'Locator' button in the bottom left corner of your screen. This will take you to the map where you will see a pin with the location of your device.

If you have multiple KARRIs, you will see them listed at the top of the screen. Tap their button to focus on that KARRI.

Check your KARRI status

Tapping the pin of the KARRI you want to check on will bring up the status page for that KARRI. This shows whether there is GPS coverage, network coverage (phone signal) and the battery life of the KARRI. You can also set the KARRI to silent from here.

You can also view this status page by opening the KARRI menu and selecting the KARRI you would like to view.

KARRI works with multiple phone networks so it's unlikely that your KARRI will be without signal for long but some buildings may block signal when inside

If you are finding that your KARRI doesn't have signal in an area where you can usually receive phone signal, please contact our Customer Support Team.

Change your GPS Update Frequency

Changing the frequency of GPS Updates can greatly improve the battery life of your KARRI. As standard, your KARRI device will update its location every 3 minutes. You can decrease this to 1 minute or increase to a maximum of 10 minutes. You can also turn the GPS tracking off altogether.

Increasing the time between check-ins will greatly improve battery life on your KARRI device as it stops the KARRI having to report its location so regularly.

To change the frequency of GPS Updates, tap the KARRI menu within your App and then select the KARRI that you would like to change.

Then, simply tap the GPS Updates section and move the slider to your preferred setting. You can change this at any time, in case you want to save battery or check in more regularly!
