Now that you've been messaging for a while, you might want to add a friend or family member to your chat, or you might want to remove someone. To do this, first, open the Chat that you want to add them to or remove them from.

Adding a friend or family member to a Chat
Once in the Chat, tap the ' i ' icon in the top right of the page then tap 'Add members'. Here you will see your existing KARRI contacts. You can choose to add one of these contacts by simply selecting them and tapping 'Add' in the top right corner.
To add someone that isn't already using the KARRI App, tap on the 'Manage contacts'. You can then either select from your existing email contacts and tap 'Add', or tap 'Add a new Contact' and enter their details, followed by 'Create'.
An invite will be sent to them and, once they've accepted, they will be available to be added to your Chat via the 'Add members' option.
You can also invite a friend's KARRI by tapping 'Invite KARRI' and scanning the QR code on their device. This will ask their parent for permission to be added and add them both to the Chat once accepted.
Managing Permissions in a Chat
To give another contact the ability to make changes to the Chat, or to add and remove members, tap the ' i ' icon and then on the contact you want to give permissions to. Then simply tap 'Give admin rights'.
We recommend keeping at least one 'admin' in a Chat at any time, even if you want this to be a Chat just between KARRIs. This allows changes to be made if needed. The admin can always select 'Mute chat' to stop notifications coming through to them but allow the kids to keep chatting away on their KARRIs!
Removing someone from a Chat
To remove someone from your Chat, open the Chat and tap the ' i ' icon in the top right corner. Here you will see the contacts already in your Chat. Select the person you want to remove by tapping the '>' icon next to their name and then simply tap 'Remove from chat'.
Remove someone by mistake? No worries! You can add them back in at any time!
Deleting a Chat
To delete a Chat, simply open the Chat and tap the ' i ' icon, then 'Delete chat'. This will delete the Chat for all members and cannot be undone so make sure you save any messages that you'd like to keep before doing this!
