Sending and receiving KARRI messages

Now that you have a Chat created with your KARRI, you can start sending voice messages!

Simply press and hold the microphone button directly in the Chat, record your message and release to send (you may need to give the App permission to access your microphone the first time you do this).

When you receive a new message in one of your Chats, you will receive a notification from the KARRI App.

You can simply tap the notification to go directly to the Chat, or you can open this via the Chats tab in the App.

To listen to the message, tap the play button next to the message you want to hear. You can also transcribe the message if you can't listen right now - the App will do it's best to understand what was said!

Now that your KARRI has been added to a Chat, you can send voice messages!

To send a new message, select the Chat that you want to send the message to by pressing the CH button until the correct colour is displayed.

Then, press and hold the Message button (large centre button) until the light comes on (this will be a solid white light around the button). While still holding the button, record your message and then simply release the button to send. The halo light will flash green to confirm that the message has sent.

Now that your KARRI has been added to a Chat, you can send voice messages!

To send a new message, select the Chat that you want to send the message to by pressing up or down on the chat buttons (the arrow buttons the the right hand side of the front of the device) until the correct Chat is displayed.

Then, slide up and hold the Message button (oval button in the centre). The screen will show the recording animation. While still holding the button, record your message and then simply release the button to send. The screen will show the message sent notification once complete.

When a new message is received in a Chat that your KARRI is a part of, the light will slowly flash in the colour of the Chat that the message was sent to and, if your KARRI is not on silent mode, there will be a sound notification.

To listen to the message, press the Message button. The light will flash white and you will start hearing the Message (don't forget you can change the volume of the message with the volume buttons on the left hand side of the device)!

When a new message is received in a Chat that your KARRI is a part of, you'll get a new message notification and a sound will play if your KARRI isn't in silent mode.

To listen to the message, slide the Message button down once. You'll see an animation on the screen to show the message is playing (don't forget you can change the volume of the message with the volume buttons on the front of the device)!

If you ever have a lot of unplayed messages queued on your KARRI, it is possible to clear all of these via the App.

To do this, open the KARRI Menu and select the KARRI and then Chats. From here, you can select 'Mark all as heard' to clear the queue and let your child get straight to new messages!

We know that some messages are just too good to only listen to once! You can share and save messages from the App by pressing and holding the message you'd like to keep and then selecting 'Share' followed by one of the options for sharing. You can email this to yourself or upload directly to your preferred cloud storage from here!
