They are screen free devices that work a lot like traditional walkie talkies.
Although the format may be similar, Karri Messengers do a lot more!
There's no need for you, the adult, to carry a separate device because Karri Messengers can send messages directly to our smartphone app for parents.
Your child can send you a message by simply pushing the button on their Messenger and you can reply via your app. They'll be notified when they get a new message and can listen with the click of a button!
You can also view the location of your child's Karri Messenger via GPS tracking in the app.

Push/slide-to-Talk button: Press/slide (depending on which generation Messenger you have) and hold down to record message, release to send message.

How does the Karri Messenger connect to the Karri App on my smartphone?
Once you have received your Karri Messenger and switched it on, you can open the Karri tab in your Karri App (iOS or Android) and pair your Karri Messenger.
Once your Messenger is paired with the App, you no longer need to connect the two (this is then done via Chats in the app). The Messenger has ongoing connectivity to the Karri platform via mobile phone networks.
