Connecting your KARRI to WiFi

If you skipped this step during the pairing process, you can find the option to set up your WiFi in the KARRI menu of your App.

Before starting, make sure that your phone is connected to the WiFi that you wish to pair with, your Bluetooth is turned on, and the KARRI App can access your phone's location.

Please note: KARRIs can only connect to 2.4GHz WiFi networks and public WiFi networks that require an additional login page are not currently supported

Now, open the KARRI menu in your App and select the KARRI that you wish to connect to WiFi.

Scroll down and tap on the WiFi section, followed by 'Add Wi-Fi network'. You'll now be asked to put your KARRI into pairing mode.

For Messenger 1 devices, you can do this by holding the CH button on the left hand side of the device for 3 seconds - the halo light will start pulsing when ready. If you need to exit pairing mode, simply hold the same button down until the light turns off again.

For Messenger 2 devices, hold the Channel down button on the front left of the device. The screen will show when it is ready to pair. If you need to exit pairing mode, hold the same button for 3 seconds.

Next, select the WiFi network you want to connect to from the list and enter the password for this WiFi network (this is often found on the back of your router).

Your KARRI should then be connected within a minute. Congratulations! You've just unlocked faster messaging and better battery life!
