Karri Messengers have two ways of alerting you to various events: lights and sounds. The lights appear around the central button and are a variety of colours. 

<b>Sounds will only play if your Messenger is not in silent mode (or with the volume to zero) so it can be useful to check every now and then to see if there are new alerts.</b>
